Prepare the patient so the dentist can begin treatment safely and without duplicate data entry.
Primary Workspace
Use shared Today to review patients in the clinic. Technical waiting, preparation, and ready states remain grouped under In clinic now so the same patient is not repeated across several lists. Use the permitted Patient Record context for preparation and safety information.
Common Tasks
- Review patients under In clinic now.
- Confirm identity, appointment type, and permitted safety information.
- Record permitted preparation information.
- Keep operational preparation state accurate when that action is available.
- Tell the dentist when preparation cannot continue; never start or complete a clinical Visit as an implied side effect.
Intentionally Hidden
Full clinical notes, prescription issuing, cashier tools, broad reports, and clinic configuration are hidden unless explicitly permitted.
