Communication And Reminders

SINA communication workflows help clinic staff understand which patient messages are scheduled, sent, failed, or need manual follow-up.
The four summary shortcuts open the matching queue view. On phones they stay in a compact two-column grid so provider readiness and the daily queue remain near the top; their full explanations remain available on wider screens and to assistive technology.
Use communication queues to answer:
- what is scheduled;
- what failed and can be retried;
- what needs approval;
- what needs a phone call;
- what is blocked by missing contact details or provider configuration.
Common actions include previewing a message, approving or sending when permitted, retrying a failed message, cancelling a scheduled message, converting to a manual call, opening the patient, opening the appointment, or updating contact details.
Communication must respect consent, purpose, role permissions, and provider configuration. Do not paste provider secrets or production credentials into documentation, screenshots, or support notes.
Provider state is explicit. Not configured, disabled, configured but unavailable, and request failed are different conditions; an empty queue does not mean that a provider is ready. Opening the workspace, previewing a record, or following a patient link sends nothing. Delivery or queue success appears only after the backend confirms the supported action.
