Choose how to use SINA on your device

Which option do I need?

OptionWhat it means
Browser / installed web appYour usual clinic address, with an app icon/window when supported
Protected device copySupported prepared records and pending work during disconnection; needs its own setup
Windows local previewSeparate local clinic services and data, with device approval and a control panel

Choose the usual web app or the separate Windows local preview. Device preparation and approval remain explicit steps.

Install the usual web app

Open your clinic's normal address, sign in, then open the account menu → This device and synchronization.

  • Windows: use the browser's install icon or its app-install menu when offered.
  • Android: use Install app or the browser's Add to Home screen option. A shortcut alone is not proof that offline work is prepared.
  • iPhone/iPad: in Safari, use Share → Add to Home Screen. Open the new icon and prepare the device copy inside that app; do not assume another browser's local data transferred.

Menu wording varies by browser version. If no install action is available, keep using the normal browser and review the device page's explanation. Installing does not grant permissions or download the entire clinic.

Windows local preview

Use the Windows guide in the device page. Download appears only after valid package information is available. This remains a local preview; review suitability before real patient use.

  1. Extract the package to a local folder; do not run from inside the ZIP or a shared/file-sync folder.
  2. Run Install-Sina.cmd once, then open SINA from Start or Start-Sina.cmd.
  3. Sign in with the clinic's existing account and request approval for this installation while connected.
  4. Review device protection and readiness. Installation or payment for a plan does not approve the device, and patient data is not automatically transferred or merged.
  5. Make an encrypted backup and keep its recovery key separately before relying on local data.

Do not change firewall rules or seek administrator access to make this work. If file protection is unsupported, follow the displayed explanation or report the problem.

Before an update or removal

Synchronize pending web work first. For the Windows local preview, follow the package update guidance and keep the previous package and data folder with a verified backup. Updating the online site does not update an old Windows package automatically.

Clearing browser data, removing an app or losing a recovery key can make unsynchronized work unrecoverable. Reinstalling is not a recovery method. See device preparation and recovery limits.
